Sunwarrior was born on a hot night in Arizona at Sedona”s Raw Spirit Festival. Three men, who shared the same desire, found each other that night, brought together by their dream to create a company and product that would benefit humanity and the planet. All three of them had previously experimented with vegan foods but found that they were lacking a proper vegan source of protein. Their desire to heal and serve the world lead to the creation of Sunwarrior. Today they are one of the most well-known producers of organic, vegan protein powders and bars.

Nick Stern used to be a professional, competing bodybuilder and he ate a lot of animal protein. When he stopped competing, he started feeling a lot of aches and pains in his body. He then switched to a plant-based diet that cured his problems. Denley Fowlke came across his first real challenge when he became the father of two girls who began their lives with serious, life-threatening conditions. Together with his wife, he embarked on a quest to find the knowledge they needed to heal their children. Hauver”s interest in health also began with a tragedy, when his father died in a heart attack at the age of 53. He was devastated, but also inspired, to reclaim his responsibility for his own health. At that time, he was overweight and out of shape, so he became vegetarian and embarked on a journey towards better health. Hauver experimented with the vegan diet but felt that he was missing a good source of high quality protein; something raw, herbal, and alkaline, that was also easy to digest. The three men joined forces to create Sunwarrior.
