Matcha scoop or Chashaku, is used for measuring Matcha tea powder. It scoops up just the right amount of matcha powder with ease and is a traditional accessory when performing a matcha tea ceremony.
For a traditional preparation of matcha tea:
Measure your matcha powder with a bamboo scoop and pour it into a fine porcelain bowl. Add 2 scoops of matcha powder. Pour in approximately 150 ml of 80-degree water. Whisk with the bamboo whisk until the matcha has formed a layer of foam. Take a moment to enjoy.
