About the product
Vimergy's blueberry powder contains just one thing; lowbush blueberries, wild-harvested in Newfoundland, Canada, in a region that has among the purest air, cleanest water, and least pollution in the world.
Blueberries are rich in vitamins and minerals, but above all rich in antioxidants called anthocyanins. These anthocyanins are what give blueberries their blue color.
Besides anthocyanins, blueberries contain several other vitamins and minerals, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin C, iron, and vitamin B. Additionally, blueberries contain beneficial beta-carotene.
Lutein is a substance found in blueberries and is a carotenoid.
Usage: Enjoy 1-2 tsp of blueberry powder daily in smoothies, yogurt, on porridge, in muesli, desserts, in your homemade chocolate, or other foods. 2 tsp of blueberry powder equals approximately 0.8 cups of fresh blueberries.
Storage: Dark, dry, and cool place. NOTE! All powders are hygroscopic, including blueberries. Depending on the temperature, usually during summer, they may clump together slightly. The powder should not get wet, but sometimes it becomes lumpy and can easily be broken up with a spoon before use. We suggest storing it in the refrigerator in such cases, which helps reduce this issue.
