Baobab is a sweet and sour fruit from the Baobab tree in Africa. It is a unique tree that only grows in the African savannas. The Baobab tree's nutritious fruit has been consumed for hundreds of years in Africa. Similarly, the Baobab tree's special way of growing (appearing to grow upside down) has influenced African culture both in literature and music.

Baobab fruit is naturally dried without heating and then ground into a powder. It is rich in nutrients including vitamin C and minerals such as potassium and calcium.
