Organic Castor Oil

Castor oil can be used on the body, hair, and face, as well as internally. Castor oil is cold-pressed from the seed of Ricinus communis and is almost completely odorless and tasteless.

This castor oil contains 92% ricinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid is used in many hair products, especially those that stimulate hair growth. Castor oil naturally contains omega 3-6-9, as well as vitamins D and E.

Internal dosage for adults:

For internal use, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) daily with meals is recommended. Either directly or in the mouth or with food. Note that castor oil does not taste good and may have a laxative effect.

External use:

The oil is very viscous and is best applied in the evening, allowing plenty of time to be absorbed. Add a drop to your face cream for skincare, or apply a drop each evening over your eyebrows and eyelashes for increased hair growth.

Hair oil: Can be applied to the scalp as a hair mask overnight. Massage into the scalp and then work through to the hair tips. Leave in for approximately 30 minutes before washing out; recommended to do 1-3 times per week. The viscous oil can be difficult to wash out, and you often need to shampoo twice. It's beneficial to gently warm the oil before applying it to your hair. You can easily mix 1/3 castor oil with 1/3 jojoba oil and 1/3 coconut oil in a clean bottle/jar to create your own hair oil.
