Add a few drops to your favorite oil; for example jojoba or almond oil; can then be used on the body or as a hair treatment. Lavender oil is perfect as a massage oil as lavender is so relaxing. 2-3 drops per 10 ml of oil. Feel free to use this oil on insect bites and itchy rashes, but not on open wounds. Lavender works excellently in an aroma lamp in your home. Add water to the bowl, approximately 6 drops in the water, and light the candle underneath. It's beneficial to have an aroma lamp in the bedroom if you or a loved one has trouble sleeping or is ill. If you don't have an aroma lamp, you can add a few drops to a bowl of hot, freshly boiled water.

Many are not. *A simple skin patch test is recommended if hypersensitivity is suspected. *Essential oils should never be ingested in concentrated form - it can be life-threatening! *Citrus oils such as bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and lime make the skin photosensitive. Avoid strong sunlight and tanning beds for at least 24 hours after skin application. *Each bottle should have a dropper insert for safe dosing. *Keep essential oils out of sight and reach of children. *Store the oil in a dark, cool, and airtight place to minimize oxidation.
