Holistic Electrolytes is an electrolyte powder developed to replenish essential minerals before, during and after physical activity. During exercise, in hot weather and when sweating, the body loses both fluids and electrolytes, making it important to restore the balance.

Balanced electrolyte complex

The formula contains sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium and calcium in a balanced electrolyte complex, with a 2:1 ratio of sodium to potassium. The powder also contains Le Guérandais sea salt, an unrefined sea salt from France that naturally contains minerals and trace elements.

With magnesium

Magnesium ascorbate provides both magnesium and vitamin C. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and normal muscle function, while vitamin C helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and protects cells from oxidative stress.

Enriched with taurine

The formula is supplemented with taurine, an amino acid-like compound that occurs naturally in muscles, the heart and the brain, among other places.

When might electrolytes be needed?

During intense exercise, in hot weather and when using a sauna, the body loses both fluids and electrolytes through sweating. Fluid and electrolyte balance can also be affected during illness involving vomiting or diarrhoea, for example, making it especially important to replenish them.
