Vimergy Chaga Extract is a dietary supplement with chaga extracted from the chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) that grows wild in Canada.

Alcohol-free extraction

Vimergy’s chaga is wild-harvested directly from birch trees, not farmed. It is extracted with hot water and does not come into contact with alcohol, making it gluten-free. Since the powder is already extracted, you can enjoy it directly in, for example, a smoothie, soup, hot water, hot chocolate, or coffee.

Adaptogen rich in antioxidants & phytonutrients

Chaga is a top-tier adaptogenic mushroom often called the “King of Mushrooms.” One of the body’s most important antioxidants is an enzyme called SOD (superoxide dismutase). Chaga contains the highest amount of SOD of all known foods, which explains its high ORAC value (antioxidant value).

Chaga also naturally contains vitamins, minerals, trace elements, polysaccharides, betulinic acid, melanin, phytonutrients, ergosterol, beta-glucans, saponins, sterols, triterpenes, and amino acid complexes.

Dosage & Usage

1/2 tsp 1-2 times per day. Not for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.

1. Chaga may increase the risk of bleeding in people taking blood-thinning medication.
2. Chaga may increase the risk of hypoglycemia in diabetics taking insulin.

What is the difference between chaga powder and chaga extract in powder form?

Chaga belongs to the family of tree fungi. It has a structure that is practically impossible for our digestion to extract anything from in its raw form.

Chaga extract means that the chaga has been double extracted using alcohol and/or water (there are different methods) to extract the adaptogenic terpenes and to extract the water-soluble polysaccharides. This method allows both the water-soluble and fat-soluble components of the chaga mushroom to be extracted.

Since it is already extracted, you can simply enjoy it directly in, for example, a smoothie, warm water, hot chocolate, or coffee.

If you buy a powder that is only dried ground chaga mushroom, you must brew tea from it first or make your own extract to benefit from the beneficial substances.
