Khadi produces 100% natural and vegan-friendly herbal hair dyes, made from high-quality and exclusive ingredients. Thanks to careful and special preparation methods, Khadi provides a more intense coloring than other natural herbal hair dyes. The hair dye also contains carefully selected Ayurvedic herbs that strengthen and add shine to your hair. One package is sufficient for shoulder-length hair.

What it does:
Provides color, shine, and volume to your hair. Since the hair dye gives a more intense coloring, it often covers gray hair better than other natural herbal hair dyes. Note that Khadi's hair dyes do not bleach the hair and therefore can never give a lighter result than your existing hair color. For best results, choose a color that is close to your natural hair color.

Grey hair:
Dark hair colors (containing indigo) may result in green or blue tints on grey hair. To avoid this, we recommend dyeing your hair in two steps. First, dye your hair with henna. Let the color process for approximately 30 minutes. Then dye with your chosen color. Check the color chart to see which shades require 2-step dyeing.

Chemically treated hair:
If you have recently dyed your hair with chemical dyes or regularly use chemical products on your hair (hair care, styling etc.), best results are achieved with at least 2 applications. The first hair coloring acts as a pre-treatment where chemicals are broken down and washed out. The subsequent colorings will provide more visible color results.

Suitable for:
Everyone, but do not use if you are allergic to henna or any of the herbs. Always do a strand test. Perform an allergy test 48 hours before first coloring by mixing a small amount of the color mixture and apply to e.g. the elbow crease. NOTE! Keep in mind that the color adheres to skin and may take a few days to disappear.

Usage: Before you begin, read the instructions carefully.

Included in the package:

You need:

• Bowl (not metal).
• Hot water.
• Brush/applicator.
• Towel.

Before dyeing, wash with shampoo and towel-dry your hair. Put on an old shirt or place an old towel over your shoulders and apply a thick cream/ointment to the skin around your hairline and on your ears, as the dye will permanently stain clothes and skin. Lay out newspapers or an old towel on the floor to stand on, to prevent drips from staining the floor.

• Mix the hair dye powder with hot water (approx. 90°C), black tea or coffee, to form a yogurt-like paste. Wait until the paste has cooled to body temperature before applying.
• Apply the paste to your hair, starting at the roots and then coloring strand by strand. After application, put on a shower cap and preferably wrap a towel around your hair. Heat makes the color more intense.
• Rinse your hair until the water runs clear.
• Remember to protect your clothes.
• Processing time 30 min - 2 hours.
• Avoid washing your hair for 24 hours afterward.

NOTE: When the hair comes in contact with air after coloring, the shade may change slightly during the first 48 hours. We advise against bleaching hair after using our herbal hair dyes.

Color Description:
Black provides a warm black color.
NOTE: If you have gray or light hair, we recommend first coloring your hair with henna, otherwise there is a high risk of green discoloration. Keep in mind that you can mix two or more shades to achieve your desired color.
