Organic Herbal Hair Color - Natural Hazel

Khadi produces 100% natural and vegan-friendly herbal hair colors, made from high-quality and exclusive ingredients. Thanks to careful and special preparation methods, Khadi provides a more intense coloring than other natural herbal hair colors. The hair color also contains carefully selected Ayurvedic herbs that strengthen and add luster to your hair. One package is sufficient for shoulder-length hair.

What it does:
Provides color, shine, and volume to your hair. Since the hair color gives a more intense coloring, it often covers gray hair better than other natural herbal hair colors. Note that Khadi's hair colors do not bleach the hair and therefore can never give a lighter result than your existing hair color. For best results, choose a color that is close to your natural hair color.

Grey hair:
Dark hair dyes (containing indigo) may result in green or blue tones on grey hair. To avoid this, we recommend dyeing your hair in two stages. First dye your hair with henna. Let the color develop for about 30 minutes. Then dye with your chosen color. Check the color chart to see which shades require 2-step coloring.

Chemically treated hair:
If you have recently colored your hair with chemical dyes or regularly use chemicals on your hair (hair care products, styling products etc.), the best results are achieved with at least 2 applications. The first hair coloring acts as a pre-treatment where chemicals are broken down and washed away. The subsequent colorings will provide more visible color results.

Suitable for:
Everyone, but do not use if you are allergic to henna or any of the herbs. Always do a strand test. Perform a patch test 48 hours before first coloring by mixing a small amount of the color mixture and applying it to e.g. the inside of your elbow. NOTE! Keep in mind that the color stains the skin and may take a few days to disappear.

Usage:
Before you begin, read the instructions carefully.

Included in the package:

• Disposable gloves.
• Plastic cap.
• Instructions manual (in English).

You need:

• Bowl (not metal).
• Hot water.
• Brush/applicator.
• Towel.

Before coloring, wash with shampoo and towel-dry your hair. Put on an old shirt or place an old towel over your shoulders and apply a thick cream/ointment to the skin around the hairline and on your ears, as the dye will permanently stain clothes and skin. Lay out newspapers or an old towel on the floor to stand on, to prevent drips on the floor.

• Mix the hair coloring powder with hot water (approx. 90°C/194°F), black tea, or coffee into a yogurt-like paste. Wait until the paste has cooled to body temperature before applying.

• Apply the paste to your hair, starting at the roots and then color strand by strand. After application, put on a shower cap and preferably wrap a towel around your hair. Heat makes the color more intense.

• Rinse your hair until the water runs clear.

• Remember to protect your clothes.

• Color processing time 30 min - 2 hours.

• Avoid washing your hair for 24 hours afterward.

NOTE: When the hair comes in contact with air after coloring, the shade may change slightly during the first 48 hours. We advise against bleaching your hair after using our herbal hair colors.

Color Description:
Hazel - gives a brown to dark brown shade depending on processing time.
Grey hair is usually covered with one application.
Note that you can mix two or more shades to achieve your desired color.
