DIY Liquid Detergent with Soap Nuts - Natural & Simple

For those of you who think that soap nuts are not effective enough as detergent. Boil your own liquid detergent with the soap nuts to get stronger washing power. Clever, right? Recipe for liquid detergent with soap nuts Boil 50 g of soap nuts with 1 liter of water for 10-15 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool. When the decoction has cooled, strain out the soap nuts. Store the liquid detergent in a glass bottle. Then pour 250 ml of liquid detergent into the detergent compartment of your machine. The detergent keeps for about 1-2 weeks without refrigeration. If stored in the fridge, it lasts longer. Be sure to label the bottle clearly so it is not mistaken for food. If you want the detergent to last even longer, you can freeze it in cubes and take out when needed. Save the soap nuts as they can be boiled 5 more times, giving you a total of 6 liters of liquid detergent! Compost the soap nuts when they are used up. So environmentally smart, allergy-friendly, fragrance-free, and cheap! Zero waste. You buy these soap nuts in 500 g packs, which yield 60 liters of liquid detergent enough for 240 washes. Soap nuts are actually fruits, but are mistakenly called nuts because of their appearance. Soap nuts can therefore be used by people with nut allergies.

Grön Lycka's natural shampoo and conditioner soaps

Let us introduce Grön Lycka, perhaps best known for their incredibly beautiful soaps. Here at Glimja, we have fallen in love with their shampoo and conditioner bars. About Grön Lycka Handcrafted soaps are made entirely from scratch and are cold-stirred or cold-processed. Grön Lycka’s natural cosmetics are plant-based, and as you can understand, they do not use surfactants like sulfates and parabens, citric acid, or mineral oils. The range is free from chemicals and additives. The softening and moisturizing glycerin, which forms naturally and is released from the fats during saponification, remains in the soap. Their fragrance oils are phthalate-free. Grön Lycka produces products daily with direct deliveries to customers or retailers, as they want to provide us with fresh and nutrient-rich natural cosmetics. Production takes place in the soap studio just outside Omberg in the scenic Rök. They make their range in small batches with love and care. The recipes are designed with the utmost care, drawing inspiration directly from nature’s colors and patterns. The products are safety-assessed by an authorized chemist and registered both in the EU database ECAS/CPNP and with the Medical Products Agency. Grön Lycka follows the Medical Products Agency’s requirements for so-called good manufacturing practice during production (Good Manufacturing Practice, abbreviated GMP). Grön Lycka also wants to support us in minimizing plastic use at home through their long-lasting, solid products and by using recyclable packaging. This suits both those who want to “plastic detox” and those who travel a lot. Solid Shampoo and Conditioner Bars These are like beautiful art. The different colors come from natural pigments or clays. What all Grön Lycka’s soaps have in common is that they are much harder than regular soaps. Therefore, they are extra, extra long-lasting and don’t get mushy easily. They are all gentle and do not dry out the skin. Luxurious to have on display, as they become a nice decorative detail that stays mess-free on the sink. Bestseller Sunlit Shimmer Clay Shampoo We love the idea of shampoo bars; skipping water and plastic packaging is good for both the wallet and the environment. Grön Lycka’s clay shampoo is a different kind of shampoo bar. It’s brilliant to add clay to the product. The texture becomes much firmer, not at all prone to getting mushy where it sits, and the clay gives the hair volume while cleansing and absorbing dirt. The best part is that this shampoo bar lasts forever. Grön Lycka says one soap bar equals three (!) regular shampoo bottles. Another great thing about this shampoo bar is that it is pH balanced (pH 5.5), which means you don’t need to do an acid rinse unless you want to. Bestseller Queen of Volume Hair Conditioner Hair conditioner in solid form. There is also clay in the conditioner. Grön Lycka says the conditioner bar equals three regular conditioner bottles (!). With moderately warm water, it’s easy to rub the conditioner bar to apply it to the hair. Simply massage the bar over the hair in circular motions. If you have a sensitive scalp, massage it in there as well. Then rinse thoroughly with water. This particular conditioner bar is incredibly long-lasting. The hair gets moisture, shine, and volume. Conditioner doesn’t always add volume, but Queen of Volume does.

DIY Facial Oil: Create Skincare Tailored to Your Skin

Finding the perfect skincare product is a challenge for many. With all the different options on the market, it can feel like a jungle to navigate to find something natural, sustainable, and affordable that also suits your skin’s needs. But we have the solution: oils! Why make your own facial oil? We often get questions about which creams are best for different conditions, e.g. dry skin, problematic skin, or oily skin. Mostly the result turns out really well, but for some it seems impossible to find the right one. Then we usually suggest a trick that rarely fails; take matters into your own hands and mix your own facial oil. You can customize the ingredients according to your unique needs, you get full control over the contents of the bottle, and you can make lots of different combinations with just a few ingredients. Is it difficult to make? Not at all. All you need for your own skin oil are three components: a base oil, one or more oils that add bonus nourishment, and an essential oil that contributes luxurious aromas. DIY recipe: How to make your own facial oil Here we have compiled a small guide of different oils that suit each ingredient best, along with the healthy effects they provide. Hope this can help you! 1. First choose a base oil like one of these: Argan Oil – for dry, aging, oily, and normal skin. Intensely moisturizing. Jojoba Oil – for dry, normal, combination, or oily skin as well as acne-prone skin. Balances sebum production. Apricot Kernel Oil – for all skin types, especially good for normal, dry, and aging skin. Universal oil. Almond Oil – for all skin types. Fantastic facial oil, gentle and nourishing. Universal oil. Grapeseed Oil – for dry, normal, oily, or acne-prone skin. Soothing for the skin and mildly astringent. Green Avocado Oil – for dry, aging, and sun-damaged skin. Increases elasticity and hydrates. Camellia Oil – for all skin types. Absorbs quickly and reduces fine lines while deeply moisturizing. Universal oil. Baobab Oil – suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and oily skin. A true anti-aging oil that improves skin elasticity. 2. Then choose a "bonus-nourishing" oil: Kalahari Melon Oil – light oil but moisturizing, without any greasy feeling, also works for acne-prone skin. Rosehip oil – dry, aging, and normal skin. Highly regenerative with anti-aging properties. Raspberry seed oil – all skin types, a fantastic facial oil. Repairing, regenerating, and soothing. Macadamia oil – for dry, damaged, aging skin. Renews the skin, restores moisture, and improves skin quality. Marula oil – for mature skin, dry skin. Protects the skin against aging, reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Borage oil – most skin types, especially oily and acne-prone skin. Very rich in GLA (gamma-linolenic acid). Evening primrose oil – normal skin, mature skin, nourishes the skin. Rich in GLA (gamma-linolenic acid). Tamanu oil – both dry skin and acne-prone skin. Known anti-aging oil and regenerative. Pomegranate seed oil – normal, dry skin, including sensitive skin. Naturally anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, soothing, and moisturizing. Moringa oil – mature, dry skin and oilier skin with acne. Rich in antioxidants that protect while purifying the skin. Black Cumin Oil – all skin types, including sensitive skin. Prevents skin aging and deeply nourishes. Hemp oil – for all skin types, soothing, moisturizing. Naturally anti-inflammatory, contains omega 3-6-9. These two oils are already blended in other oils and work best as they are: Carrot oil – for all skin types. Provides intense protection, even for sun-damaged skin, due to its high beta-carotene content. Calendula oil – for problematic skin such as itchy skin, acne, eczema, or diaper rash. Stimulates the skin’s healing process and cell renewal. 3. Then choose one essential oil (optional) Lavender – most skin types, normal, dry, oily; lavender heals and soothes. Peppermint – oily and acne-prone skin. Highly astringent. Cedarwood – normal, oily skin and acne-prone skin. Astringent but also calming. Patchouli – for normal skin or just because you love the scent. Frankincense – soothes dry and sensitive skin and balances oily skin. Geranium – most skin types, including oily skin. Balances the skin's sebum production. Lemongrass – normal, oily skin and acne-prone skin. Stimulates overloaded skin. Rosemary – normal, oily skin and acne-prone skin. Stimulating oil. Orange – normal skin, oily skin, blemished skin, clogged skin. Adds radiance to the skin. How to make You need a bottle or jar with some kind of lid, preferably dark glass, as well as the oils. Fill your glass bottle/jar with 2/3 of your base oil. Add your "bonus nourishing" oil until the bottle is almost full. Optional: then add between 3-8 drops of essential oil depending on the size of the bottle. About 1 drop per 15 ml. Shake the bottle after each drop so you can smell your way to how much essential oil you want. You should be able to smell it, but it shouldn't be overwhelming. Essential oils have very different beneficial effects and wonderful scents, which can sometimes be appreciated since not all oils are considered pleasantly fragrant. For example, neem oil smells really bad, moringa smells like grass, black cumin is very peppery, and so on. What is an essential oil? Essential oils are produced from flowers, twigs, leaves, seeds, and roots of aromatic plants. Each essential oil is unique in its composition. Essential oil is a fragrant plant extract that is part of the plant's immune defense. They are fat-soluble, which allows them to penetrate the skin and be absorbed through inhalation. The oils have low-dose effects such as antispasmodic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, stimulating, and can increase blood circulation, among others. In high doses, they can cause allergic reactions, so you should dose carefully. Plants that contain essential oils include lavender, basil, chamomile, sage, rosemary, anise... basically all plants with a strong scent. PS: The term "essential oil" is not correct in Swedish; it's a poor translation from the English "essential oil." Now you know. And remember, always choose organic oils – whether it's a vegetable oil or an essential oil! If you need help choosing products, you can always contact our specialists at hej@glimja.se!

Torr hy med finnar? Naturliga lösningar för balans

Dry skin with pimples? Natural solutions for balance

I have received many emails from customers who over the years have developed drier skin and then experienced outbreaks of pimples, acne, red spots, and other impurities. Those who have reached out have been at different stages in their lives. Everything from teenagers to people in their 50s, but the majority are those who had clear skin but face this dilemma around the age of 30. They naturally wonder what they should do. The common problems everyone shares Everyone has had different skincare routines and skin issues, but most have had this in common: Dry skin (also applies to those with oily/greasy skin): the skin feels very tight after washing. Conventional skincare products (especially creams) have been used for a long time (several years). The skin just gets drier over the years. For some, this results in the skin overproducing sebum, leading to oily and greasy skin. They change cleansing products or routines. Those with dry skin switch to milder cleansing creams or cleansing oils and may skip washing their face in the morning. Some with dry but oily/greasy skin switch to even more drying cleansing products. They continue to moisturize the skin with conventional creams. Recently, pimples, acne, red spots, or other impurities have broken out. The skin condition worsens. The skin just gets drier and the impurities continue to break out. Why the problems occur Dry skin can be caused by many reasons. But regardless of whether it’s hormonal, environmental, or health changes causing dry skin, facial cleansing products with a lot of foam are needed—that is, products that wash away a lot of sebum and dirt to remove residue (e.g., silicones, synthetics) from conventional products. Sometimes deep cleansing like exfoliation and masks are needed to purify the skin. The residues usually come from conventional facial creams. Because the skin gets drier over time, people switch to milder cleansing products but continue using the same types of facial creams. The mild cleansers can’t remove all the residues, which then build up in the skin over time. Or they use more drying products if they have oily/greasy skin (which actually stems from dry skin). Eventually, so much residue has built up in the skin that it breaks out as impurities. Those with oily skin (which stems from dry skin) might manage to wash away residues with strong products but instead get impurities and acne because the skin produces far too much sebum. Solutions to the problems Stop using conventional skincare (especially facial creams) and clear out residues and impurities with natural products. Give the skin time to find balance. Then wash with natural, preferably organic oil + water or mild cleansing products. Occasionally deep cleanse the skin with organic scrubs and masks. Moisturize the skin only with natural creams and/or oils as well as serums without synthetic ingredients that remain in the skin and cause problems. In this article – The Ultimate Guide for Dry Skin – you can read more about solutions and get product recommendations.

9 smarta tips för att hålla sminket fräscht i sommar

9 smart tips to keep your makeup fresh this summer

With the summer heat comes sweat, and most of us use less makeup during the summer or none at all. For those of you who still want to wear a little makeup, I have some really good tips for a smarter and fresher makeup look this summer. 1. SPF as foundation or powder Foundation with sun protection is so convenient. My biggest favorite is HIRO’s mineral foundation, whose sun protection is tested and documented. Depending on the shade, the protection varies between SPF 25 or 30. Powder and powder-based makeup can easily look dry and cakey in the summer heat. But not HIRO! It is so finely milled and sits naturally on the skin. If you still find the result too heavy or matte, skip dense brushes and choose a fluffier powder brush for a lighter application. 2. Customize your own liquid foundation From left: cream, serum, and oil. Mix HIRO’s mineral foundation with face gel, face cream, serum, or oil to create a liquid foundation with SPF. It’s so simple and highly recommended. The advantage is that you can adjust your foundation according to how your skin feels. Try mixing with aloe vera gel if your skin is sunburned or oily. Mix with raspberry seed oil or a good facial sunscreen for an extra SPF boost! 3. Tinted sunscreens for the face For those who don’t want to mix, there are now really good tinted day creams with SPF. They all provide light to medium coverage, even out skin tone, and offer sun protection. Alga Maris tinted sunscreens are designed for the face with both SPF 30 and SPF 50 in different shades. Perfect if you’re going to spend a lot of time in the sun or heading off on a sun holiday! 4. Fix your foundation if it’s too light You can achieve a darker foundation shade with a bronzer. However, bronzers tend to turn too red or orange when mixed in larger amounts. Therefore, choose a bronzer with a warm tone without too much red. Cocoa Kissed from 100% Pure is a big favorite for many. 5. Use light makeup that lasts Apply your liquid makeup with a brush. It usually results in thicker layers when you use your fingers. With a brush, it’s easy to apply a thin and even layer of makeup that stays well on the skin. Check out brushes like these from HIRO or Purobio. 6. Keep bacteria away from your face Makeup brushes are a more hygienic choice compared to fingers. However, this only applies if the brushes are washed after use. In summer, we sweat more and the T-zone tends to get oilier. Don’t let dirt and bacteria thrive in your brushes. Use Dr. Bronner’s or Vermont Soaps’ effective liquid soaps for super easy brush cleaning. 7. Sweaty? No problem! A common mistake is to apply more powder when the skin is sweaty. Don’t do that. It cakes immediately! Instead, use a tissue or napkin and press it against the shiny areas. 8. Focus on your brows Natural filled-in brows give a more awake face and are perfect if you want to keep your makeup minimalist. Choose a water-free brow color with wax that stays put and doesn’t dissolve from sweat and moisture. 9. Fresh and healthy cheeks Try blush in stick, cream, or pencil form. It blends nicely into the skin and gives a natural healthy flush to the cheeks. Cream makeup has the same beautiful glow as skin in daylight. Perfect for a no-makeup summer look. Check out multisticks from HIRO. They can also be used as eyeshadow and lipstick. Truly all-around products. Tinted lip balms or creamy lipsticks also work great as blush this summer. Or we have lovely creamy blush pencils from PuroBIO. They are perfect to keep in your bag for a little “pick me up” on the cheeks. We wish you a warm and wonderful summer!

Loelle Ekologisk Arganolja för Hud & Hår

Loelle Organic Argan Oil for Skin & Hair

Loelle is a Swedish company that offers organic certified cold-pressed argan oil. Loelle’s argan oil is hand-pressed by a women’s cooperative in Morocco. Today, there is a wide range of argan oils from various brands. Argan oil is a popular “all in one,” year-round, multi-oil. During spring and summer, it is great for the skin both before and after exposure to strong sun. It does not work as sun protection but is used for care and repair of (damaged) skin and sun-damaged hair, as protection against free radicals, and to counteract fine lines. A few drops of argan oil give hair incredible shine in the summer sun. The hair becomes soft and nourished. What can differentiate argan oil on the market is: The bottle: is it plastic, metal, or glass. Organic certification or not. Pressed from picked nuts or fallen nuts (the almonds inside the kernels). Cold-pressed or not. Hand-pressed or machine-pressed. There are probably more points, but I believe I have covered most of the main aspects. All of this and the production process itself affect the quality and scent of the oil. Review Rating: 5 out of 5 I really like Loelle’s argan oil. It stands out because it absorbs into the skin very quickly without feeling greasy and provides all the positive effects that argan oil offers. A big plus is that the oil comes in a glass bottle and not plastic. The scent is also very mild and neutral, not nutty at all as I expected. So this oil suits most people. If you think argan oil is sticky and slow-absorbing, try Loelle’s!

Loelle's Organic Black Soap - Natural Skincare for Smooth Skin

This is yet another product that deserves its very own post. A Moroccan black soap with a eucalyptus scent. I would say it is one of Loelle’s finest products *hugs the jar*. Anyway, I am completely sold on this magical black soap. Once a week, I treat myself to extra time in the shower with this soap and a scrub glove. What is black soap? Don’t confuse this with African black soaps. Moroccan black soap is a simple product with a short ingredient list, mostly consisting of organic olive oil, and cannot be used as a regular shower gel or body scrub. The black soap is like thick syrup, very concentrated, and works best with a moderately rough scrub glove. A dollop on a damp glove creates wonderfully soft lather that scrubs away dead skin cells and dirt like nothing else. Strangely, the soap does not dry out the skin. The skin becomes extremely soft, smooth, and silky. This is perfect for those with dry skin who don’t want to absorb creams and oils. It’s excellent to scrub with this before applying self-tanner. 5 out of 5 Loelle’s black soap gets top marks from me and has become a staple product that must be in my bathroom all year round. + incredibly concentrated.+ organic and natural without unnecessary additives, few ingredients.+ makes the skin incredibly smooth, soft, and silky.+ great at scrubbing away dirt and dead skin cells.+ does not dry out the skin.

Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser för känslig hud

Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturizer for sensitive skin

Odylique has won a number of awards for its ethical, organic products. Their products contain a high proportion of organic ingredients of the highest quality and are certified by the Soil Association. Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser is a luxurious, light day cream with a gentle rose scent that just melts into the skin. This is the face cream with a capital F for those with sensitive skin, skin that flushes/becomes red, as well as mature or dry skin, and it can also help with rosacea. Perfect for sensitive, dry, or mature skin The cream is rich in antioxidants, contains rose flower water as well as essential oils from rose and geranium that are soothing, astringent, and reduce redness. Extracts from rosehip and sea buckthorn promote cell renewal, and aloe vera juice and jojoba oil are moisturizing and balancing. It is a cream that effectively boosts the skin and, with its light texture, can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, and the delicate skin around the eyes. Vegan-friendly. Review I have tried the cream and think it works perfectly for my dry, reactive skin. The skin calms down when the cream is applied to the face, and now after a few days it even feels like it has better elasticity than before. I managed to sit a little too long in the sun over the weekend and my skin reacted immediately. But a thicker layer of the cream in the evening and morning calmed it down, and the skin became soft and smooth.

Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo för torr hårbotten

Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo for dry scalp

I brought Odylique's Gentle Herb Shampoo into the store because a customer requested it, and I had no special expectations for the product. I have dark, thick Asian hair that is dry and unmanageable. After having dandruff eczema on my scalp, my hair hasn't been the same. Even though the dandruff eczema has disappeared, I feel like my hair gets dirty/oily quite quickly and I have to wash it more often than I used to. This despite using the same shampoo and conditioner. I have had to wash my hair every other day instead of every 3-4 days. It also itches a bit if I wait too long between washes. Day 1 The first sight of the shampoo gave me a positive surprise. The shampoo looks like a thin hair conditioner. Despite this, it foams a little, enough to massage it into hair and scalp. The shampoo felt so beneficial that I spent some time massaging the scalp with it. What a hallelujah scalp experience! So nice and soothing it was! It took more shampoo than usual, but maybe not surprising considering the wonderful scalp massage. It was worth it. When the shampoo was rinsed out, the hair felt incredibly clean, maybe a little too clean as the hair had "high friction" just like a freshly washed plate. According to the shampoo bottle, the hair will not need follow-up conditioner after a period of use. However, I felt a strong need for conditioner. When the hair had dried, the strands were separated one by one, instead of the shapeless hair I had before that was more clumped in sections. The hair had a nice fall and was very fluffy, light, soft, and smooth. I felt like I was in a shampoo commercial, as the hair felt incredibly fresh and moved beautifully. The hair doesn't smell much, but I notice a faint scent of herb garden and forest walk when I put my nose in the hair. Day 2 Very fresh scalp and the hair feels freshly washed. The hair looks as good as on day 1 and smells just as fresh. My hair is usually thick and heavy, but now it feels strong, has volume (!), shine, and is incredibly smooth. Not a sign of dry hair at all. Day 3 The hair is the same as on days 1 and 2. I am completely sold on Gentle Herb Shampoo and often smell my hair. It still smells freshly washed and there is no sign of grease or dirt anywhere. However, it started to itch just a little on the scalp in the evening. Day 4 The hair looks just as clean and shiny but the fresh scent has disappeared. The pleasant feeling on the scalp is almost completely gone. Day 5 The hair is completely flat and it's time for a wash. This time the Gentle Herb shampoo foamed much more, so I didn't need to use as much. Besides, the hair became so soft that conditioner was hardly needed, but I chickened out and used a little conditioner anyway. Next time I don't think conditioner will be necessary. I think I will have a hard time switching shampoos. Odylique's Gentle Care Shampoo is completely superior, at least for my hair and scalp. If you feel like trying it, the shampoo is available in a 20 ml tube for 39 SEK. Perfect if you want to try it first. Otherwise, it comes in 200 ml or 500 ml.

5 natural oils for problematic skin - find your favorite

The common perception is that all vegetable oils are greasy. There is a wide variety of oils with different properties and “oiliness.” The trick is knowing which one suits your skin type. Of course, you can buy pre-mixed face and body oils, but it’s nice to try them one by one to see which work best for your skin type. You can also mix your own custom oil. It’s both fun and economical. Oil is the purest thing you can put on your skin and is therefore the best option for sensitive and problematic skin. Here we share five favorites! 1. Castor Oil This much-talked-about oil is often used on the scalp and hair. Many find it makes hair grow more and gives thicker, denser, and shinier hair in just 2-4 weeks. Some have even gotten longer eyelashes. Castor oil is very oily and sticky, so it can be tricky to wash out of hair, but it may be worth the effort if it works for you. Another unique property is that castor oil is incredibly cleansing, meaning it draws out dirt from the skin like no other oil. Makeup disappears in an instant. Keep in mind that it is so oily and cleansing that it can dry out the skin if used alone. Therefore, it’s wise to mix it with another neutral oil. 2. Evening Primrose Oil A dry oil that is absorbed immediately by the skin. Great for all problematic skin such as itchy eczema, dandruff eczema on skin and scalp, atopic eczema, psoriasis, dry and flaky skin, and itching. It also works as a serum under a face cream or another facial oil. 3. Green Avocado Oil A very nourishing and mild oil. It is oily but not sticky, and leaves the skin velvety, though it takes a long time to absorb. Protects against weather and retains moisture. Gives the skin suppleness and a healthy glow. Soothes both skin irritations and sunburn. 4. Almond Oil Neither too oily nor too dry. The oil is popular because it is mild, softening, and cleansing. Great for softening rough and dry skin. Very good as a cleansing oil for the face as it removes makeup. 5. Jojoba Oil It is a bit waxy and protects against weather without clogging pores. The skin doesn’t become sticky, greasy, or shiny. Jojoba oil absorbs well into the skin and provides moisture and softness. The best thing about jojoba oil is that it soothes all itching. Many find it calms eczema, including dandruff eczema. What are your experiences with vegetable oils? Feel free to share in a comment!

Loelles jojobaolja & mandelolja för torr & känslig hy

Loelle's jojoba oil & almond oil for dry & sensitive skin

Jojoba oil, like argan oil, is a true multi-oil that also works fantastically on hair. It moisturizes, softens, and soothes any itching. If you check your organic products at home, you'll notice that jojoba oil is in everything, such as makeup, creams, and shampoos. There is something magical about Loelle's oils as they all absorb into the skin so easily and quickly on dry skin. Otherwise, sometimes a little water helps. The jojoba oil is no exception and quickly sinks into the skin. Loelle's jojoba oil works excellently on both dry and wet hair. The hair immediately becomes shiny and soft without looking greasy. In the summer, a tip is to use jojoba oil in the shower instead of both shower gel and hair conditioner. It works really well. A few drops go a long way, and a whole 100 ml bottle lasts a long time. Here you can read more about how to use jojoba oil. Almond Oil You really get a wow feeling from Loelle's almond oil, just like with their argan oil. This almond oil is uncomplicated and absolutely wonderful. It does one thing and does it really well, namely moisturizing dry skin and keeping it nice and supple for a long time. The almond oil absorbs into the skin in no time and is not sticky. So if you are sensitive and have dry skin, this almond oil will become your best friend. I rub my dry hands with this every evening; there is nothing better. Both the almond and jojoba oils are organic and cold-pressed oils and are, of course, bottled in glass bottles and not plastic. Previously blogged about the argan oil here.
