Natural plant alkaloid

Berberine is a natural plant alkaloid extracted, among other sources, from the roots and bark of Berberis aristata. The substance has a long history in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine and has attracted attention in recent years in research on metabolism and metabolic health.

Phytosome® technology

Traditional berberine has very low bioavailability, meaning that only a small amount is absorbed by the body. Berbevis® uses innovative Phytosome® technology, combining berberine with a phospholipid complex.

The formula also contains water-soluble pea protein extract, which acts as a carrier, sunflower lecithin, which improves solubility, and grape seed extract to support the formula's tolerability.
