Organically Grown

The microalgae used in BioNutrition products are organically grown in a mineral-rich volcanic area on the Kamchatka Peninsula and then freeze-dried using a proprietary process that preserves the nutrients. The freeze-dried microalgae are then transported to Canada, where they are carefully blended into vegan capsules.

Four Microalgae

BSF contains four microalgae that are grown, harvested, preserved, and proportioned according to very high standards. These were selected from thousands of ingredients that Dr. Kiriac tested during his many years of research with the goal of finding a combination that could contribute to the health of living organisms.

These four algae were chosen from thousands for their unique properties, nutritional content, quality, and compatibility. Spirulina Platensis and Spirulina Pacifica

BSF contains two types of spirulina: Spirulina Platensis and Spirulina Pacifica. Spirulina is a blue-green microalga that grows best in warm, brackish water. It contains about 60-70% complete and easily accessible protein, with 18 of 22 amino acids and all essential amino acids. Spirulina is also very rich in vitamins A, B, E, H, enzymes, several essential and non-essential fatty acids, B vitamins, chlorophyll, minerals, and trace elements. It is also a rich source of GLA.

Dunaliella Salina

Dunaliella Salina is a single-celled saltwater alga that under the right cultivation conditions produces large amounts of beta-carotene, other carotenoids, and antioxidants such as zeaxanthin, cryptoxanthin, lutein, as well as natural glycerol.
