By walking barefoot outdoors on grass, soil, sand, stone, or in natural water as often as possible, we ground ourselves. The best grounding comes from swimming in the sea, lakes, or streams, but the ground in all its forms also provides access to the earth’s unlimited resources of negatively charged free electrons and energy.

Direct contact with the earth

Earthing, grounding, or “jordning” in Swedish, means having direct skin contact with the earth. When walking barefoot or bathing in the sea or a lake is impractical, this earthing sheet for the bed serves as an effective “substitute.”

Premium Deluxe sheet

Earthingpeople’s Premium Deluxe sheet is made to very high standards and designed for a long service life. The Premium Deluxe fabric consists of 40% surgical-grade stainless steel fiber, 50% Tencel, of which 10% is antibacterial mineral fiber from Germany, and 10% cotton.

Fits all bed sizes

The universal sheet, also called a half-sheet, fits all bed sizes. It can be placed crosswise over a double bed for two people or lengthwise for one person. See the image for placement examples.

The sheet has an additional 70 cm of fabric sewn onto both short ends, which can easily be tucked under the mattress topper to keep the sheet in place. Its convenient format also makes it practical to take along when traveling.

No direct skin contact with the earthing sheet is required 

A regular sheet can be placed on top of the earthing sheet. According to the manufacturer, moisture from the body creates conductive channels through the fabric, meaning that direct skin contact with the earthing sheet is not necessary.

Connect the sheet with a grounding rod or grounding clamp

The sheet is connected using the included cord to a grounding rod or grounding clamp. In the Nordic countries, only two methods of grounding yourself with this product are recommended:

1) With a grounding rod: the cord for the grounding rod is 15 m long, so it is often possible to place it outside the house and run it all the way up to the third floor—provided there is a flower bed or lawn outside. The grounding rod is not included in this set and must be purchased separately.

2) With a grounding clamp: if you have water-filled radiators in your apartment, you can ground yourself through them. You will need to purchase a clamp separately and attach it to the water pipe leading to your radiator. Scrape off any paint from the pipe so that the metal is exposed, attach the clamp, and connect the sheet to it.

Note! In modern houses, water may flow through plastic hoses instead of metal pipes, in which case this method will not work. Do NOT ground the sheet through the electrical outlet. You can choose the grounding connection yourself: either a grounding rod or grounding clamp in the online store. It is not included. We provide a 3-year warranty on the sheet.
