Närokällan Vitamin D 5000 Vegan, 90 capsules

Description

Vitamin D is the only known nutrient that we can obtain both from sunlight and through diet. In Sweden, the sun is only strong enough during midday in summer. During the winter months, we cannot produce any vitamin D at all, which is why we may need extra supplements.

Benefits of Vitamin D:

• Contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
• Helps maintain normal bone structure.
• Helps maintain normal muscle function.
• Helps maintain healthy teeth.
• Contributes to normal absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus.
• Plays a role in the cell division process.

Are you at risk of Vitamin D deficiency?

Everyone living at our latitudes during winter risks vitamin D deficiency. For people who don't eat fish or dairy products, those with poor fat absorption, and overweight individuals, the risk increases further. Medical conditions that regularly improve during June-August or in connection with sunny vacations may be suspected to be related to vitamin D deficiency.
