Inositol is a vitamin-like substance sometimes referred to as vitamin B8, as it works together with B vitamins. Inositol is a component of cell membranes, where it contributes to normal cell function and influences cellular signaling. Inositol interacts with receptors that mediate signaling, such as the serotonin system. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that affects mood and helps us feel relaxed.

This powder is in the form of myo-inositol. Myo-inositol is the form that makes up the majority of inositol in the body. It is a white powder with a slightly sweet taste.

Adult dosage: 1 pinch to 1/2 tsp per day with or without food.

Recommended dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a dry place and keep out of reach of children.
