Vitashine is a liquid vitamin D3 supplement based on 100% plant-based lichen extract rich in vitamin D3. There are many different species of lichen; Vitashine comes from a carefully selected strain that has been shown to contain vitamin D3. The liquid has a neutral taste.

Since lichen is a plant source, all surrounding soil must first be removed. By extracting the oil from the lichen, it is then possible to ensure optimal purity and produce a stable vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Each batch is then tested to measure the exact level of D3. Cholecalciferol is the form of vitamin D produced by the body upon exposure to sunlight.
