Yes, to some extent. There have been many claims about raspberry seed oil and carrot oil having high protection levels. We cannot endorse this as we have not found sufficient research to prove it. What we can say with certainty is that plant oils provide nourishment and moisture to the skin and make the skin feel good.

DIY: Make Your Own Skin Oil
Making your own skin oil by mixing different oils is an excellent way to combine their unique functions – a real supermix indeed! This mix works well as "After Sun" we think.
You will need:
1 dl sweet almond oil
1 dl coconut oil
2 tbsp shea butter
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 tsp raspberry seed oil
1 tsp carrot oil
Melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a water bath over very low heat.
Stir around in the container until they have melted together properly.
Add the remaining oils and continue stirring until everything has dissolved.
Pour the oil into a glass bottle and store it in a cool and dark place so that it keeps as long as possible.
