This is yet another product that deserves its very own post. A Moroccan black soap with eucalyptus scent. I would say this is one of Loelle's finest products hugs the jar. I am completely sold on this magical black soap anyway. Once a week I treat myself to extra time in the shower with this soap and an exfoliating mitt.
What is black soap exactly? Don't confuse this with African black soaps. Moroccan black soap is an uncomplicated product with a short ingredient list and consists mostly of organic olive oil and cannot be used like regular shower gel or body scrub. The black soap is like thick syrup, very economical and is best used together with a moderately rough exfoliating mitt. A dollop in a damp mitt creates wonderfully soft lather that scrubs away dead skin cells and dirt like nothing else. Strangely enough, the soap doesn't dry out the skin. The skin becomes extremely soft, smooth and silky. This is perfect for those with dry skin who don't want to absorb creams and oils. It's excellent to scrub with this before using self-tanner.
