Saffron Flavored Chia Pudding Malta Style

Recipe: Chia a la malta with saffron for about 4 people. Ingredients:
2 dl organic cashew nuts
1 dl chia seeds 1 pinch of salt – preferably Celtic
1 pinch of vanilla powder
1/4 package of saffron (a pinch)
1-2 tbsp honey depending on how sweet you want it. If you don't want to use honey, you can substitute it with yacon, xylitol or stevia.Preparation:**

  1. Soak the chia seeds in a bowl with 3 dl of water. Let stand for 2-3 hours. Soak the nuts in a bowl for 2-3 hours. Drain the water from the nuts. 2. Place the cashew nuts in a powerful blender and cover with water. Add saffron, honey, salt, and vanilla.

  2. Mix everything except the chia pudding. Combine with the chia pudding in a bowl. Let stand for 15 min. You can decorate with mandarin segments.
