Nutrex Hawaii

At the facility in Kailua-Kona, Nutrex produces the finest and purest spirulina in all of Hawaii. They have been doing this since 1990 when the company was founded by Dr. Gerald Cysewski, an expert in microalgae and carotenoids. He started Nutrex with the purpose of spreading and making microalgae and all their health and wellness benefits accessible. They are aided by fresh deep-sea water from the Kona coast, freshwater filtered through lava rock, and abundant Hawaiian sunlight.
