The lunch box is leak-resistant thanks to a food-grade silicone seal. This means that while the lunch box isn't 100% leakproof, it maintains a tight seal. It's therefore suitable for moist foods such as thick sauces, dips, and stews without leaking. However, it's not intended for soups or other thin liquids.
The lunch box is dishwasher safe but is not recommended for use in the oven even if the silicone seal is removed. Prolonged exposure to very high temperatures can cause the metal to warp and may create problems with fitting the lid. Cannot be used in the microwave.
