Thyme oil from India has an herbal scent of potent thyme. The essential oil is extracted from thyme through distillation. However, it must be distilled twice to produce a completely pure oil, which this is. The oil then becomes very concentrated.
Usage:
Thyme is a middle note and blends well with bergamot, cedar, lemon, lemongrass, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, rosemary and pine needles.
- Thyme is a common ingredient in, for example, beard oil and skincare products for impure and oily skin.
- For skincare, it should always be diluted with a carrier oil before use. Maximum 2% concentration.
