What does it do: Bruns shampoo 05 is a "sister" product to Bruns shampoo 04 but without essential oils. It's a deep-cleansing detox shampoo that provides a fresh feeling along with extra volume and lightness to thin, flat hair.
Organic sage cleanses and stimulates the scalp, removing product buildup, chlorine, and environmental pollutants. Organic xanthan gum provides a light styling effect. Bruns Hairdressers recommends starting with a detox shampoo, no. 04 and 05, before transitioning to try their other shampoos more suited to your hair type.

How to use: Wet hair thoroughly before shampooing. Shampoo twice for deep cleansing; lather usually develops better during the second application. Finish with conditioner of your choice.
Detox: If you have hair that never feels clean due to silicones, hard water, excessive styling products, or oily hair that never feels properly cleansed – do a detox.
Here's how to detox your hair:
- Take four to five pumps of shampoo and distribute in your hand. Then massage into dry hair/scalp.
- Add a little water and massage to create a lather.
- Rinse out.
- Then take 1-2 more pumps and start massaging thoroughly into the scalp. Repeat this as many times as needed until you get a fluffy lather in your hand and the hair feels squeaky clean.
- Now the hair is detoxed and all buildup is gone, leaving the hair completely clean.
- Finish with any Bruns conditioner of your choice to restore moisture and make the hair manageable.
