What does CollagenBoost contain?
Phytodroitin™ is a plant-based alternative to chondroitin (which is a component of collagen). Collagen is always derived from animals. Therefore, it is not included in Helhetshälsa's products. Instead, they use Phytodroitin™ from algae. Phytodroitin™ has been developed after careful studies of the structure and composition of chondroitin. The structure is almost identical to that of chondroitin-sulfate from shark and even more similar to chondroitin from poultry, but the production of Phytodroitin™ is completely free from animal products. Phytodroitin™ contains a formula of algae extract with a high concentration of specific mucopolysaccharides together with polysaccharides, including glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine.
Hyaluronic acid is a moisturizing lubricant found in joints, skin, lungs, and muscles. CollagenBoost contains HAPLEX®Plus, a vegan hyaluronic acid. It is produced through fermentation.
Vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation which is important for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, gums, teeth, cartilage, and skin.
Manganese. Connective tissue is supporting tissue found in muscles, tendons, and cartilage. Our joints are surrounded by supporting, firm connective tissue. Connective tissue consists largely of collagen. A nutrient that is important for connective tissue is manganese: Manganese contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue.
Adult dosage: 2 capsules daily with meals. The capsules can be opened.
