What it does:
Jojoba oil consists largely of gadoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that occurs naturally in the skin, making it the oil most similar to the skin's own sebum, resulting in a velvety feeling on the skin. Jojoba oil also contains palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, oleic acid, and erucic acid, which have a smoothing effect on the skin and prevent dehydration. Jojoba oil also contains vitamins A and D as well as antioxidants that help keep the skin healthy and provide a beautiful glow.
Coconut oil is easily absorbed by the skin and has softening and moisturizing properties. Coconut oil consists mainly of saturated fatty acids that help maintain skin moisture. Coconut oil is classified as a fatty oil, which gives it the ability to make skin soft and supple, and it has an almost pearlescent shimmering effect on the skin. Lauric acid, caprylic acid, and capric acid are fatty acids that protect the skin against dehydration.
