Organic Herbal Hair Rinse - Lemongrass & Tea Tree
Use Ekendahls hair rinse instead of conditioner. The hair rinse contains apple cider vinegar that balances the pH level, seals the hair's cuticle layer, and makes the hair soft and shiny.
Marshmallow root is a mucilage-producing herb that provides moisture and protection to the scalp and hair.
Hibiscus is known to prevent hair loss and contains anti-inflammatory compounds. It also contains many antioxidants including Vitamin C.
Birch leaves contain saponins that help other ingredients penetrate the scalp. The saponins work anti-inflammatory together with the leaf's essential oil.
Nettles stimulate the scalp and reduce dandruff and itching. Contains minerals such as potassium, silica, magnesium, and iron, as well as high amounts of Vitamin C.
Rosemary stimulates hair growth and reduces dandruff. The essential oil has a significant effect on blood circulation in the scalp and impacts bacteria and fungi.
Horsetail stimulates blood circulation and has a strengthening effect on the scalp and hair. Contains many minerals and trace elements, such as silica, manganese, potassium, sulfur, and magnesium.
Lavender can counteract fungal growth through its antibacterial properties and soothe itching.
Lemongrass oil counteracts fungal growth, especially when combined with tea tree. It has a refreshing effect and improves circulation.
Tea tree oil alleviates dandruff and scalp itching. It counteracts fungal and bacterial infections.
Scent: Citrus and Tea Tree.
Usage: Shake the bottle of hair rinse. Use a large mug, pitcher, bottle with spout, or spray bottle that can hold ½-1 liter. After washing your hair, fill your chosen container with water. Mix 1-2 tablespoons of the hair rinse with 1 liter of water. The recipe can be modified slightly depending on hair quality and length. Experiment to find what works best for you. Distribute the mixture through your hair, massage gently for a while, and ensure it reaches the scalp thoroughly.
If you have long hair, you may want to dip the lengths in the mixture first. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes before rinsing so the herbs can work. You can also leave the mixture in your hair without rinsing. The vinegar scent will disappear when your hair dries even if you leave it in. Note! Mix before entering the shower to avoid breaking the glass bottle against tiles or ceramic surfaces.
Each pump press delivers approximately 1 ml of hair rinse. 1 tbsp = 15 ml.
Size: 250 ml.
