Preparation: Mix about 1 teaspoon in a large cup or three teaspoons in a teapot. The ideal water temperature is 75-85° C - let it steep for about 1-3 minutes. If left to steep too long, it can become bitter. Genmaicha is versatile and can be enjoyed at any time of the day and throughout all seasons: cool in summer and warm in winter, with meals or on its own.
