Color: Since the natural pigments adapt to your skin tone, it's hard to choose the wrong shade. Space balm is still available in 6 different shades so you can find your perfect match.
Color description of all 6 colors:
Altaira: for very light to light skin. A true ivory color for the lightest skin tones.
Nala: for light to medium skin with warm (yellow to olive) undertones.
Alita: for light to medium skin with cool (pink, blue-red) undertones.
Talleah: for light to medium skin without distinct undertones. A neutral beige.
Nova: for medium skin with warm (yellow to olive) undertones. A honey beige for skin that tans easily.
Nyota: For medium skin with olive undertones. A peach beige.
Usage:
Space balm also works excellently as an eyeshadow primer, and when combined with HIRO's eyeshadows, you get irresistible matte cream shadows. Can also be used for contouring by using a shade darker than your skin tone. Space balm also works well as an emergency foundation.
Dark circles under the eyes:
Use
a shade lighter than your foundation. Apply with fingertips, HIRO Concealer Brush or a beauty blender from the inner to outer corner of the eye, close to the lash line or where you have dark areas. Blend and work gently by patting in the balm.
Imperfections, acne:
Apply Space balm after you have applied your foundation. Choose the same shade as your foundation. Gently pat a small amount onto spots and imperfections. Apply several layers if more coverage is needed. Use fingertips, HIRO Concealer Brush or beauty blender.
Contouring:
Choose a slightly darker shade than your natural skin tone/foundation.
Apply with fingertips or beauty blender.
Uneven skin tone:
Use fingertips or beauty blender to apply the balm on (red) areas that need to be evened out to match your natural skin tone.
Eyeshadow primer:
Apply a small amount with fingertips or concealer brush before applying your eye makeup. Your eyeshadow will appear more pigmented and stay in place throughout the day.
Create matte eyeshadows:
Transform your mineral eyeshadow or blush into a wonderful creamy eyeshadow with a matte finish. Mix a small amount of Space balm on the back of
your hand with your mineral makeup. Since the balm is water-free and contains waxes, it will be able to resist rain and moisture.
