Holistic Vitamin E contains the full spectrum of vitamin E (alpha, beta, gamma delta tocopherol and alpha, beta, gamma delta tocotrienol) that occurs naturally in vitamin E-rich plants. Many vitamin E products contain only alpha-tocopherol. Natural vitamin E in the form of alpha-tocopherol has twice the activity of synthetic vitamin E.
Vitamin E is mainly found in nuts and seeds, but also in eggs, fatty fish, and leafy greens. It is difficult to obtain high levels of vitamin E from diet alone. You would need to eat large amounts of fatty and calorie-rich foods to reach up to 200 IU of vitamin E in
your daily diet, e.g., 220 g sunflower seeds, 560 g almonds, or 1.14 kg olive oil per day.
Adult dosage: 1 capsule of 400 IU per day.
