With Imse's organic period panties, you can feel secure and comfortable during menstruation. The soft organic fabric closest to your body provides a comfortable feeling, and you avoid having plastic next to your skin as with many conventional pads and liners. The absorbent function consists of several layers of organic cotton and is sewn into the underwear.
With period panties as menstrual protection, you can feel completely free as they give you the option to go without tampons, pads, and liners. The underwear itself absorbs menstrual blood and provides the protection you need.
Imse's period panties are made of 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane, and the waterproof layer that makes the underwear leakproof is made of PUL (100% polyester laminated with polyurethane). The PUL layer is inside the underwear and doesn't touch the skin.
This is Imse's best period underwear for those with light flow or for those who have a heavier flow and want a complement to tampons or menstrual cups.
The Hipster Light Flow period underwear has an absorbent capacity of 10 ml. The soft elastic at the waist and leg openings makes the underwear extremely gentle and comfortable for the days when you need it the most.
How often Imse's period underwear needs to be changed is individual and you'll need to find what works for you, but typically they last about 8-16 hours depending on the chosen absorption capacity and flow amount.

Material: The period panty itself is made from 95% organic cotton with 5% elastane for durability and elasticity. The gusset layer closest to the vulva is made from 100% organic cotton. The absorbent core consists of multiple layers of brushed organic cotton, plus a leakproof barrier made of laminated polyester (PUL) to ensure the period panty won't leak. Organic cotton is grown completely without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, which is better for both human health and nature. Organic cotton differs from conventional cotton in many aspects, with differences starting at the fiber stage. The period panties are certified according to OEKO-TEX standard 100. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. Oeko-Tex covers the production process itself and includes post-treatments. Made in Latvia.
Care Instructions: Wash the period underwear before first use to improve absorption capacity. After use, rinse the underwear in cold water and wring out. Then either place directly in the washing machine or hang dry until machine washing. Wash the underwear at 60 degrees Celsius with your regular laundry. Avoid fabric softener and bleach as they can affect the functionality of the underwear. Let the underwear hang dry. Tumble dryers and drying cabinets can be used on low temperature.
