The absorbent function consists of several layers of organic cotton sewn into the underwear.
With period panties as menstrual protection, you can feel completely free as they give you the option to go without tampons, pads, and liners. The underwear itself absorbs menstrual blood and gives you the protection you need.
Imse's period panties are made of 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane, and the waterproof layer that makes the underwear leak-proof is made of PUL (100% polyester laminated with polyurethane). The PUL layer is inside the underwear and doesn't touch the skin.

Care instructions: Wash the period underwear before first use to improve its absorption capacity. After use, the period underwear should be rinsed in cold water and wrung out. Then place the underwear directly in the washing machine or hang dry until machine washing. Wash the underwear at 60 degrees Celsius together with your regular laundry. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach as they can affect the underwear's functionality. Let the underwear hang dry. Tumble dryers and drying cabinets can be used at low temperature.
