The cap from Klean Kanteen is durable and easy to clean as the parts can be completely disassembled. Not intended for hot or carbonated beverages.

Material: The cap is made from BPA-free Polypropylene (PP #5) and the straw is made of 18/8 stainless steel. Around the cap, there is a food-grade silicone sealing ring. The included extension straw is made of food-grade silicone.
Care Instructions: Disassemble the cap (see image and video) by turning it to the open position and removing the locking mechanism, then remove the top part and wash all parts by hand with hot water and dish soap before first use. The cap can also be washed in the upper rack of the dishwasher.
After disassembly, it is important to reassemble the cap parts in their original position to ensure leak-proof security.
