Klippan's Stella wool blanket is a classic throw with fringes made from 100% lamb's wool. The blanket is equally beautiful on both front and back sides. Klippan Yllefabrik's blankets are manufactured in their own Oeko-Tex® certified factory.

The blanket looks beautiful on the sofa, bed, or patio. This is a throw that suits most occasions where you need a beautiful and warming wool blanket. Wool has excellent properties. For example, you don't need to wash wool blankets/throws very often as they have self-cleaning properties. The wool itself is also dirt-repellent and dirt stays on the surface, this is because the wool contains natural fats.

Care: It's easy to refresh wool blankets; hang your wool blanket outdoors when it's slightly humid, and it will clean itself naturally. If you still want to wash the blanket, please follow the washing instructions for the respective blanket/throw.

Washing instructions: Machine wash at 30 degrees, wool program only. Wash separately. Iron at medium temperature. Do not tumble dry. Do not use bleach.

All wool tends to pill over time. The finer the wool, the more delicate it is. Pilling occurs from friction. This means you should avoid putting too much strain on the blankets; for example, they are not suitable as seat cushions or for covering the sofa.

To keep the blankets soft and fluffy, brush them up to raise the nap. A blanket can be brushed multiple times using, for example, a velcro strip or a steel comb. Hold the velcro vertically and grip both ends with your thumb and index finger. The hook direction of the velcro should align with your intended brushing direction. If you're holding it correctly, brushing should be easy, not jerky and heavy. Brush the blanket from the inside out with long, even, sweeping motions. Be careful not to brush too hard as it's easy to snag and pull out too many wool fibers. Go through the blanket piece by piece until it's fluffy and even on the surface. Finish by hanging the blanket outside and giving it a good shake

Material: Made from 100% lamb's wool (Lamb's wool refers to the first shearing of a sheep that is no more than six months old). The wool comes from New Zealand and is mulesing-free. Dyed with colors free from heavy metals, not chlorine bleached. Swedish design, manufactured in the company's own factory in Riga, Latvia. Certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means the blanket has been tested for harmful chemicals.
