Triphala is a traditional Ayurvedic formula commonly used to activate digestion. It contains three fruits: Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and Haritaki.
Triphala is tridoshic, meaning it can be taken by all doshas. The powder has a bitter taste that may take some getting used to. The powder can have a mild laxative effect.
Usage: Mix 0.5 tsp with juice, water (preferably warm) or other beverage. The dose can vary from 1-2 teaspoons per week to 0.5 tsp daily. It's recommended to take a one-week break every other month. It is advised to start with small doses and gradually increase.
Note: Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Pregnant and nursing women should avoid Triphala, as well as people with diarrhea or severe intestinal diseases.
Ingredients: Organic Triphala powder (fruits: Emblica officinalis, Terminalia bellirica, Terminalia chebula). Packed in a facility that also processes nuts.
Storage: Store in a dry and cool place at room temperature.
