G1 comes with a microspiral filter cartridge, which is available in several different versions. You choose the cartridge that best suits your water quality.
The microspiral filter technology combines six purification methods in a single filter, providing highly effective and naturally clean water. Microspiral filters are among the most effective methods for drinking water purification. It stops bacteria and parasites, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues and other unwanted substances, while beneficial minerals and trace elements are left behind. It is difficult to achieve this purity in large treatment plants, but with G1 you can do it directly in your kitchen at home. Thanks to the advanced technology of the microspiral filter, you get clear, fresh water while preserving the essential minerals.
If your water contains uranium, you should choose a cartridge for hard water with a uranium insert, regardless of whether the water is actually hard or not. This variant provides the most effective purification. In case of very high uranium levels, as in some places in Uppsala, Köping, Enköping and parts of Finland, for example, it is also recommended that you reduce the water flow through the filter to about half for optimal purification effect.
Filtration capacity: Usually, the filter lasts from 5000 to 10,000 liters.
How often should the filter be changed? We recommend changing the entire filter cartridge after at most one year for best performance. If you notice that the flow decreases drastically or that taste and smell deteriorate, you may need to change it earlier.
Installation: On kitchen faucets with external thread M22x1 or internal thread M24x1. Adapter for this installation is included. For other sizes, adapters and spare parts need to be purchased separately.
