If any part breaks, becomes loose, worn, or shows any other signs of damage or weakness, the mouthpiece should be discarded and replaced. Pura's nipples, spouts, and straws are not designed to be bitten.
A biting child can weaken, tear and/or detach the silicone, including the built-in silicone valve from the drinking spout or straw. For the child's safety, remove the product after the child has finished eating or drinking. Do not leave nipples, teats, or straws in direct sunlight or heat. Do not sterilize the parts longer than recommended as this may weaken the product. Pura nipples, teats, and straws are designed for Pura bottles; use with other bottles may cause premature deterioration.
