Pura's straw bottle in stainless steel is 100% plastic-free and completely free from BPA, phthalates, and lead. The bottle is compatible with most nipples and can easily be converted into a baby bottle, sippy cup, or sports bottle by purchasing a nipple or other cap. The water bottle has a smart silicone sleeve that provides a good grip for small hands while helping to protect the bottle against impacts.

The water bottle is light and comfortable to hold. It is intended for cold beverages and has measurement markings on the inside of the bottle.

The new improved "Kiddo Straw" has many advantages:

• • No spills, liquid only flows when the child sucks on the straw. If the bottle happens to tip over, none of the liquid will leak out.

  • The straw has no valve, the robust tip lasts longer and needs to be replaced less frequently.

  • Better flow.

The straw is made of 100% medical-grade silicone and consists of two parts; the mouthpiece for drinking and the straw that extends into the bottle. With a straw in the bottle, it's easy for the child to drink in an upright position without tilting the bottle. You can also remove the straw and use only the mouthpiece, but then the bottle needs to be tilted to drink.

Care Instructions: Wash the bottle and straw before first use. The bottle and straw can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher (on the top rack). The silicone sleeve can be washed by hand or on the top rack of the dishwasher.

The bottle is best washed with a regular bottle brush and the edges inside the bottle are rounded for easy cleaning. All parts of the bottle are dishwasher safe. Not microwave safe! The bottle can be sterilized by placing it in boiling water for approximately 5-10 minutes. The silicone sleeve is easily removed by soaking it and adding a little dish soap. It will then slide off easily. Replace the silicone sleeve using the same method with some dish soap and water, then rinse the bottle afterward.

All Pura silicone mouthpieces (nipples, sippy spouts & straws) should be inspected before each use. Pull on the tip including the built-in silicone valve in all directions. If any part breaks, is loose, worn, or shows any other signs of damage or weakness, the mouthpiece should be discarded and replaced.

Pura's nipples, baby bottle nipples, and straws are not designed to be bitten. A biting child can weaken, tear apart, and/or detach the silicone, including the built-in silicone valve from the spout or straw. For the child's safety, remove the product after the child has finished eating or drinking. Do not leave nipples, baby bottle nipples, or straws in direct sunlight or heat. Do not sterilize the parts longer than recommended as this may weaken the product. Pura's nipples, baby bottle nipples, and straws are designed for Pura bottles; use on other bottles may cause premature weakening.

Material: The bottle is made of 18/8 (#304) food-grade stainless steel (no liner/internal coating needed) and neither absorbs nor transfers flavors. It is resistant to bacteria, which have difficulty adhering to stainless steel surfaces.
