Pura Kiki silicone straw fits all Pura water bottles and baby bottles in the Kiki series. The straw is made of medical-grade silicone. 1 piece.
Pura Silicone Straw
Pura's silicone straw spout is compatible with all Pura water bottles and baby bottles in the Kiki series. The straw, made from 100% medical-grade silicone, consists of two parts: the leak-proof spout that you drink from and the actual straw that extends into the bottle.
With a straw in the bottle, it becomes easy for the child to drink in an upright position without tilting the bottle. You can also detach the straw and use only the spout, but then the bottle needs to be tilted to drink. Bottle not included.
Please note that the straw is only compatible with the following bottles: Pura Kiki series in 260 & 325 ml, Pura Sport Bottle in 550 ml.
Quantity: 1 pc.
Size: 11.3 cm long and 5.3 cm wide.
Weight: 35 g.
Age: Recommended from approximately 6 months.
Material: The straw is made of medical-grade silicone.
Care instructions: Wash before first use. Can be washed by hand and in the dishwasher.
When the straw is new, the top and valves may be a bit tight, which can make it difficult to suck liquid through it. This is due to the nature of silicone and is easy to fix. Try these options:
- Boil the straw; it may need to be boiled twice.
- Pinch the tip several times so that the drinking hole opens to its widest point. You can see how it opens up.
- Ensure the three small valves on the underside of the straw are open by pressing them with your finger until the groove opens.
- If your child drinks quickly, it's good not to fill the bottle completely but to leave a few centimeters of space inside the bottle. This will achieve a faster flow rate.
All Pura silicone mouthpieces (nipple, sippy spout & straw) should be inspected before each use. Pull on the tip, including the built-in silicone valve, in all directions.
If any part breaks, becomes loose, worn, or in any other way appears to be damaged or weak, the mouthpiece should be discarded and replaced. Pura nipples, sippy spouts, and straws are not designed to be bitten. A biting child can weaken, tear, and/or detach the silicone, including the built-in silicone valve from the drinking spout or straw. For the child's safety, remove the product after the child has finished eating or drinking. Do not leave nipples, sippy spouts, or straws in direct sunlight or heat. Do not sterilize parts longer than recommended as this may weaken the product. Pura nipples, sippy spouts, and straws are designed for Pura bottles; use on other bottles may cause premature weakening.
Facts: The straw complies with all FDA, CPSC, EN14350, German LFGB rules and/or guidelines. BPA-free.
