Radico Organic Hair Color

Radico Organic Hair Color is a 100% certified organic hair dye made from henna and herbs. The results last approximately 4-6 weeks. One package is sufficient for waist-length hair.

What does it do: Radico's organic hair color doesn't damage your hair but instead protects and repairs it, even damaged and worn hair. The hair color combines with your individual hair color, which means the color result is individual and completely unique. For best results, choose a color that is close to your natural hair color. Note that Radico's hair colors do not bleach the hair and therefore can never give a lighter result than your existing hair color.

Gray hair:
This organic hair color doesn't penetrate the hair strands like chemical hair dyes do, but instead coats each hair strand and provides strong and shiny hair.

Therefore, gray hair strands will not get complete coverage, but the hair color works excellently if you want to reduce the contrast between gray and non-gray hair. The black color makes gray hair darker, where white strands will get a light gray shade with blue undertones.

Chemically Treated Hair:
If you have recently colored your hair with chemical dyes or regularly use chemicals on your hair (hair care, styling etc.), the best results are achieved with at least 2 colorings. The first coloring acts as a pre-treatment where chemicals break down and wash away. The subsequent colorings provide more color results.

Suitable For: Everyone, but do not use if you are allergic to henna or any of the herbs. Always do a strand test. Perform an allergy test 48 hours before the first coloring by mixing a small amount of the color mixture and applying it to, for example, the inside of your elbow.

Usage:

Before you begin, read the instructions carefully.
NOTE: We advise against bleaching your hair after coloring with our herbal hair dyes. The result will not be good.

MIX YOUR HAIR COLOR:
It works excellently to mix powders of different shades for a unique color result. Mix the powder in a bowl (not metal) with warm water, 1 part powder to 3 parts water. Add water gradually until you achieve a yogurt-like consistency.

• Short hair: 20-30 g powder.
• Shoulder-length hair: 40-60 g powder.
• Waist-length hair: 70-100 g powder.

COLORING:
Use the included brush or a hair dye brush/comb. Start applying the paste at the roots and work your way out to the lengths, gray hair needs a bit more paste.

After applying the color all over your hair, put on the included plastic cap.

Wait at least 45-60 minutes before rinsing out the hair dye. For darker shades, you can wait longer - it's safe to keep the color in your hair for up to 2-3 hours. Heat can be applied using a hair dryer to intensify the result. Rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Shampoo if needed. Radico's organic hair color can be easily washed off skin and clothes using mild soap if staining occurs.

Tips:

It works excellently to re-color the hair 2-3 times with 24 hours between each coloring for a more intense result. Note that some shades may darken slightly (oxidize) after a few days. Seal the package if there is powder left over. Store in a dark and cool place until the next hair coloring.
