Organic Mulberries
Mulberries are actually not berries but fruits, yet they are still counted among superberries. Mulberries come from a tree (Morus alba L.) that has been a very important tree in Asia for a long time. The reason for this is that silkworms, which spin silk threads, only eat mulberry tree leaves. The tree thus grows in large parts of Asia but is also found in Europe.
There are white, pink, red, and black mulberries, and the trees they grow on are 5-20 meters tall. Mulberries have long been used in traditional folk medicine, and writings have been found dating back to ancient times in China and Greece. In folk medicine, all different parts of the tree have been used - both roots, bark, leaves, and fruits.
Mulberries are not only delicious but contain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients such as proteins, fiber, bioflavonoids, and polyphenols. Mulberries are a perfect choice when you're craving something sweet.
Super delicious dessert for all ages:
- 1 dl cashew nuts
- 4 - 5 dl water
- ½ dl mulberries
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- a pinch of salt
Blend together in a blender.
