Renée Voltaire's organic Japanese Kuwa Matcha from Kagoshima is made from high-quality whole mulberry leaves. The leaves are stone-ground into a fine powder with a smooth sweetness, mild umami, and a beautiful deep green color. Kuwa Matcha is naturally caffeine-free.
Usage: Use a traditional matcha scoop for dosing:
- For a normal strength matcha, use one scoop.
- For a stronger variant, like a matcha espresso, use a heaped scoop. Whisk the powder in hot water (about 70 °C) with a bamboo whisk, while slowly pouring in more water for a smooth and fine consistency.

Storage: The matcha powder should always be stored in the included designed tin can. It has an extra inner plastic lid that seals tightly and protects the powder from oxidation. Pour the entire contents from the bag into the can and seal carefully for best durability and flavor.
