Rose Facial Toner
Hydrosols are a byproduct of distilling herbs and flowers when producing essential oils. All are antiseptic. They are used, among other things, as gentle facial toners. They are wonderful for moisturizing/cleansing the face. Flower water prepares the skin for cream, has a mild astringent and cooling effect on the skin.
Rose water works as a facial toner for cleansing and cooling normal skin, dry skin, and sensitive skin. The flower water has a wonderful rose fragrance. Note**:** Just because hydrosols are gentle doesn't mean they have a mild scent - they are quite fragrant as they are flower/herb waters.
Recommended skin type: all skin types but especially suitable for dry and sensitive skin.
Usage: We recommend using this for: facial cleansing and cooling the skin. Apply undiluted on cotton and pat the skin as often as needed, e.g., before morning cream or after evening cleansing.

The steam distillation process releases the "rose otto" oil and water from the petals. Rose cultivation has experienced a resurgence in Bulgaria after communism, especially following the return of land to the people in 1993.
