The Sedona Combo is a more luxurious variant of the Sedona Classic. The main differences with this Combo dehydrator are:
- A Two-Stage Temperature timer = TST, which allows the starting temperature to be set higher and then automatically decrease to, for example, 42 degrees. This helps speed up the drying time.
- A light that illuminates the dehydrator when the door is opened.
- More luxurious appearance with stainless steel details on the front.
With the Two-Stage Temperature timer (TST), you can set the dehydrator to kickstart the dehydration process at a higher temperature before automatically lowering it. The automatic TST settings enable faster drying and shorter processing times while preserving valuable enzymes. Some fruits and vegetables with high water content require a higher initial drying temperature to prevent fermentation.
Like the Sedona Classic, the Sedona Combo also has 9 trays with plastic mesh where you can dry everything from herbs, berries, fruits, pizza bases, cookies, nuts, etc.
The horizontal air distribution ensures very even drying. It features an airtight glass door with a digital display for temperature and timer settings and is designed to fit standard kitchen dimensions.
Sedona has highly precise temperature measurement and can be set between 30-68 degrees. The dehydrator has an automatic safety shut-off after 150 hours. When drying/heating smaller amounts of food, you can turn off half of the unit to reduce energy consumption.
