The Duoblade, which is a double-edged auger with dual cutting action, makes the auger twice as effective compared to a standard one. The low speed ensures that the juice retains maximum vitamins and enzymes as it creates minimal heat friction and oxidation.
What's more, it's like 2 machines in 1 - a juicer and a grinder. With the grinding attachment (included), you can easily transform Slowstar into a grinder for making nut butter, pâtés, sauces, and ice cream/sorbets. It works brilliantly for pressing bananas for banana ice cream through the grinding unit, as well as nut paste, spaghetti, bread, etc.
Instead of having a mesh (juicing screen) for the liquid to pass through, the grinding unit (homogenizing screen) is closed (no mesh), which means that fibers and liquid are not separated. All ingredients are then ground down in the grinding unit, while in the juicing unit, liquid is separated from fibers.
