Alpha-lipoic acid is known for its energy-giving properties and as a powerful antioxidant. It is both water and fat-soluble, which allows it to reach all cells in the body. Alpha-lipoic acid prevents protein glycosylation and inhibits aldose reductase enzyme, which in turn prevents the conversion of glucose and galactose to sorbitol.
Adult dosage: 1 capsule 2-3 times per day.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a dry place and keep out of reach of children.
