Wooden Soap Dish
A beautiful, neat wooden soap dish with drainage to keep your solid soap nice and dry.
Organic natural solid soaps last at least twice as long as conventional solid soaps, especially if you take care of them and let them dry between uses - preferably on a wooden soap dish. See soaps here.
Material: The wood is maple, grown in Vermont, USA where the Vermont Soap factory is located. The soap dish is untreated, it's pure maple wood.
How to make it last longer:
- Use two different soap dishes. Use one in the shower and keep another dry as a backup. Switch them every week or every month.
- When switching, clean the one that was in the shower. Mix 1¼ cups of water, 2 tablespoons of baking soda, and a splash of white vinegar in a bowl. Place the soap dish in the bowl and use a brush to scrub the wood to remove soap residue or dirt. When finished, rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
