Vitamin Code D3 is a raw and food-based vitamin D3. Cultivated with specific peptides, it provides optimal absorption in the body with targeted nutrients.

Vegetarian product: Vitamin Code RAW D3 is labeled as vegetarian and not vegan because the formula contains RAW Food-created vitamin D3 where the original source of D3 used in the process comes from lanolin from sheep's wool. There is no lanolin in the final product, but Garden of Life wants to be respectful to vegans and has therefore labeled it as vegetarian. No animals were harmed/killed in the process.
