The lunch box is leak-resistant thanks to a food-grade silicone seal. This means that while the lunch box is not completely leakproof, it maintains a tight seal. It's therefore suitable for storing moist foods such as thicker sauces, dips, and stews without leaking. However, it is not intended for soups or other thin liquids.
The lunch box is dishwasher safe but is not recommended for use in the oven, even with the silicone seal removed. Prolonged exposure to very high temperatures can cause the metal to warp, which may result in problems fitting the lid properly.
