Epsom salt helps relieve muscle tension and body aches when used in baths. Epsom salt is frequently recommended by physiotherapists and sports injury specialists.
Dosage for full body bath: Use at least 3 dl of Epsom salt in a warm bath. Do not use soap in the bath as it counteracts the salt's effect. Preferably don't shower afterwards, let the skin air dry naturally.
Dosage for body compress: Use 1-2 dl of Epsom salt per liter of warm water. Soak a towel in the salt solution and place it on the skin. Leave it on for about half an hour. Can be repeated several times per day. If you have very sensitive skin, proceed with caution and test carefully.
Dosage for body scrub: Mix 1 part organic body oil and two parts salt, optionally adding 10-20 drops of essential oil. Store in an airtight glass jar.
